Interesting comments regarding the Gallup Poll...

Why is Obama not able to pull away? Was this weakness expected?

Republican presidential candidate John McCain moved from being behind by 6 points among "likely" voters a month ago to a 4-point lead over Democrat Barack Obama among that group in the latest USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. McCain still trails slightly among the broader universe of "registered" voters. By both measures, the race is tight.

She learned she had HIV when she was only 19, after one time of unprotected sex while in a monogamous relationship.

Hot flash, if you don't want AIDS.... a)Keep your pecker in your pants.... b)use a condom...... and c)quit sharing needles.

AIDS/HIV is a problem in Washington D.C. That is a given.

Once the cycle of infection gets started in transmission from person to person via exchange of body fluids whether via sex or open wounds in which blood or body fluids are transferred until that cycle is broken people will continue to become infected.

You can treat the disease in the early stages once it is gotten, but its the cycle of transmission that has to be broken.

In case anyone including the writers of the research report believes that AIDS/HIV is a black disease only please forget it.

It's good the women who are infected are speaking up----Its been about 15 years since Magic Johnson came out of the closet and talked about his AIDS.

What isn't mentioned in this article is all of the research money both governmental and private that has been put into research on the medical cause and treatment of AIDS.

I submit that we would find it astounding if the real figures were known.
