shadows: Yes, you are right, if global demand follows the U.S., then crude could drop a lot more than just 120/110.
that is the wild card so to speak. i think slowing global demand may be offset by declining global production, but no one knows.
to me, it is a bit late to be shorting crude or oil stocks, but i could be wrong
