Michael, > American is a big freakin country and cannot be remade by euro standards.

Europe is a big freakin' continent that cannot be defined by abstract notions of "euro standards."

Even the EU is having trouble trying to implement their fantasies of a continental socialism. Of course, that won't stop liberals here in America from sharing said fantasies and mixing it up with their usual "grass is greener on the other side of the pond."

American is a big freakin country and cannot be remade by euro standards.

Why?

The solutions have to be more creative than duplicating $10/gallon gas in germany.

Why?

Obama had 200k folks at his rally because they had nowhere to go with unemployment at 10% and gas at $10.

Unemployment has not been that high for a couple of years. And just for the record, Obama spoke in the evening after the COB. Germany has been the engine causing improvement in the EU's economics.
