Don't lobbyists of some sort write all bills? That's a good point. Of course they do, and should have, input. But the bottom line should always be what is best for the people of the country (who the politicians represent), not the profits of the corporations. That hasn't been the case. So Democrats in Congress are ineffectual as long as there is any opposition. Cute. They can't pass legislation if they don't have a veto proof majority. You know that as well as I do. Don't be obtuse.
