No, 5 pounds gets you to 10% reduction in gas mileage. Okay, then Obama's right. There is no energy crisis. Just inflate your tires and the entire problem goes away, we can stop relying on imported oil. Shit.

CJ, > Not according to this study. It places 27% of passenger cars with 25% or more underinflation. So now what? Pass a law requiring all gas stations to give mandatory tire inflation checks? Have the "conservation cops" out writing tickets to people driving with underinflated tires? People have been told to keep their tires properly inflated ever since gas hit $3/gallon. It's quite a pain to check that every month, even for guys like me who know what they're doing. Tenchusatsu
