"Frankly, I don't think Pelosi is that bad.....you may not like her politics but I don't get the sense she is corrupt at all."

I don't think she is corrupt either. But she runs the House like she is scared of stepping on anybody's toes, much less Smirk's.

Really? I am not saying that your view is wrong but I don't have a sense of it. I felt like the House takes positions that are at odds with Bush but they never go anywhere because of the Senate.

I've seen her in a couple of interviews lately, and Pelosi more or less admitted that W was the best thing to ever happen to the (D)'s, and she didn't want to change that dynamic by attempting a failed impeachment. She said it's up to the voters to punish the (R)'s. She also pointed out that much of the failures of the (D) congress can be laid at the Senate's door, which are Reid's failures.

She's a really smart woman, even if I don't always agree with her. I think she's too nice too.
