Why is it that so many people automatically think in binary terms, as though there are only two choices. Because something isn't imperative doesn't mean it can't be a choice. And just because Gore and others don't want to play dice with the phystics of how carbon acts on the climate doesn't mean that they want humans to disappear.

Procreation is not a biological imperative if one looks at the species as a whole, as at this point overpopulation is a bigger risk than extinction. I'm not sure I'm getting the point across.
