Once again, I find myself disagreeing with your reasoning, but I guess it's only because I'm using a broader definition of liberty than you are. I believe the two concepts are inextricably linked.

To me, if the law is discriminatory, the people against whom it discriminates have a lesser degree of freedom within our society.
