Lots of conservatives are fed up with the Iraq war. I for one am practically there. Violence down to its lowest level in years? Great, let's GTFO.

The thing about "pseudo-conservativism" is that the GOP has been following this for years, even when Bush took office. McCain is a "pseudo-conservative," just like Ah-nuld. It should be no surprise that the GOP is currently reeling with no traction whatsoever.
