Don't be dense, Joe. That's not what I asked. I just heard the governor of Alaska say that it would take approximately 5 years to bring oil from ANWAR to markets. Sarah is exaggerating....even the oil president, Bush, says 7-10. But what about OCS drilling about which you all are so jazzed? How long to get oil from offshore? Inquiring minds really need to know. If Congress does not act now, it will increase the time by the minimum of 10%. If the time to market is so important to you, don't you want to start tomorrow? Don't you feel angry that the Dem leadership has already wasted a month? What infuriates me is that no one from Bush on down is getting the American people on a program of conservation. You want to see the price of oil really drop.....get those YoY gas numbers to go down even further. And what also pisses me off is that Bush is proposing to shift mass transit funds over to highways to make up for a shortfall due to the gas tax drop off. So very typical of the president you voted into office twice. Thanks, joe.
