Haim Brazill needs a downgrade. BRL skyrocketing.

The US dollar dropped to a fresh multi-year low of 1.5580 versus the Brazilian real in late morning trading on Friday. The dollar has been in a downward channel versus the real since Monday despite a brief pause yesterday.

The dollar fell against the real as Brazil's industrial production advanced at its fastest pace in seven months to 6.6% in June from a year ago. This was compared with the revised 2.5% increase in May, Brazil's Statistics office said Friday.

Traders heavily weighed on report that employment in U.S. continued to contract in the month of July, although the drop in jobs was smaller than expected. According to a report released by the Department of Labor on Friday, non-farm payroll employment fell by 51,000 jobs in July. Economists had expected employment to fall by 75,000 jobs, compared to the decrease of 62,000 jobs originally reported for the previous month.

Meanwhile, the unemployment rate rose to 5.7% in July from 5.5% in June, the U.S. Labor Department said today. The increase came in above the expectations of economists, who had expected to unemployment rate to edge up to 5.6%.

The Dollar that closed Thursday's New York trading at 1.5730 against the real is currently trading at 1.5590.

We need to call those 15-year olds of Fitch and tell them that we need a downgrade,
