Conroe skeptics asked the same thing when Intel released the first Conroe vs. Athlon FX benchmarks which were primarily game benchmarks. As it turned out the only thing hidden was Conroe's domination of Athlon FX in nearly every type of desktop benchmark. Will history repeat itself?

If Deneb takes the gaming crown against *all* Intel's 45nm products the effect will be interesting considering AMD will have 2 Fabs locked and loaded ;-).

AMD has two dedicated 45-nm fabs idled/ramping that are "locked and loaded" to produce Shanghais and other 45-nm CPUs? That's news to me. Last time I checked AMD didn't even want to own fabs any more.

I see AMD's current domination in 3D integrated graphics performance has driven the stock to another five-year low today.
