Yes, it was a valid setup and one that asked hard to be traded. Glad I went flat from long yesterday. Should I have shorted for a L-T move? Dunno.

Just checking in and I see tech has caved rather hard, but has not taken out the prior lows from July 28, 23, and of course, 15. They all should fall eventually here, otherwise this is some sort of other pernicious, corrective jello that is only delaying the eventual new low.

We can see that just about every index other than Nasdaq ones are not close to making a new low. It could end up being a nice bullish divergence.

Quiet private thought:
I respect the "big C" scenario. It is a vicious piece of work. Surprises should be to the downside. When I look at an index like $XMI, I only need to squint my eyes just a little to see the action since mid-July as a 'flat' correction -- a '(ii) of iii of C'. I am not positioned for the meat of "big C", so I hope I have not underestimated it (i.e., I am not positioned). This count I referenced has been posted many times, most recently here, in the middle chart and the last chart:
