I think Bush has made mistakes, primarily in his personnel choices and misplaced loyalties, and by trying to please everybody instead of sticking to his core principles.

I do think he brought a lot of class to the office that Clinton had pissed on, to put it bluntly.

I wish the Democrats would come up with some candidates like Mike Mansfield, Hubert Humphrey, Scoop Jackson, and the like. People you could respect.

Politics is becoming too much of a professional enterprise. Even the pros that I agree with, Dick Morris for example, are basically whores.

I apologize for the strong language, but nothing else seems to fit.
