a lot of anecdotal evidence that over the last month, small businesses facing retail have been closing up. Folks reporting empty stores in twos and threes appearing in a neighborhood near you. Throwing in the towel for the competitors of the big stores.

JF, I like how Democrats claim they're all for small business when they go after big successful chains like Wal-mart.

In reality, the ones that benefit are the unions, who don't give a rat's ass about small business, even those who are forced to deal with them.

Meanwhile, price increases at Wal-mart will probably benefit the competing chains more than small business. Just another example of the unintended consequences brought about by Dems with "good intentions."
