The biggest success of the (R)'s is turning relatively low compensated people like Dave and Ten into die-hard supporters forever, when the top 1-5% of the population that own and run the (R)'s could care less how they do. Even more of a success are the truly low compensated individuals like Steve, who, due to issue politics and chump change, vote directly against their economic interests, cycle after cycle.
