Shows an all-time high ratio of total debt to GDP of about 3.5 to 1.

Can you imagine having that ratio on a personal basis? I'd run not walk to the nearest BK Court.

Can anyone think of any reason why this trend should reverse? I can think of about ten reasons why it should continue. This chart sure makes the recent "strength" we hear about seem puny:
