Research shows that the natural tendency in recruiting workers is to self select. People naturally want to hire others who remind them of themselves, but professionals are trained to make decisions based on qualifications and the needs of the organization. Recruiting people that turn you on is not normal because of the obvious conflict of interest. Ethical people don't do that.
