Someone could drive a hybrid without knowing it, and that lack of knowledge wouldn't cause any problem. He doesn't have to do anything differently than he would with a regular car. Hybrids substitute for regular cars that well.

Electric cars, not so much.

From the consumer/operator standpoint, the step from hybrids to electrics is much larger than the step from regular cars to hybrids.


Give me a break. People have learned how to plug in a cell phone, I imagine they can learn how to plug in a car. Jeez....
