I love the way they are staging these bank closings over the weekend.....no hysteria, no muss, no fuss, no inconvenience. But will the FDIC have enough in reserve to cover the costs? That is the million question at this point.

If we keep this up... no way the FDIC has the bucks. Coupled with the "stimulus programs", the war $'s, the low tax rates, we are digging a hole so deep we'll never get out.

I don't even know what to say...............

There is a good reason the dollar isn't worth a damn.

"I love the way they are staging these bank closings over the weekend...."

They honed that technique during the S&L crisis.

Look for bank closings after the closing bell every Friday, for the foreseeable future. Eventually, you'll be cheered when there are less closings this Friday than last, or less closings than expected!

They aren't "staging" them over the weekend. It is done on a weekend for a reason.
