If trends continue folks like yourself might eventually have to open their eyes. And Singapore is one of the most regulated places in the world... but quite successful. As far as opening my eyes, I think you are the one ignoring reality. If you look at all the different functions of government, and imagine it as a single company you can see the huge amount of diversification that no private company could accomplish. It's pretty amazing how well they function.
