What I know as a Community Planner comes under 'Planning and Zoning'-----communities, developments, cities are planned and designed. In the process the planners must meet specific technical planning and zoning regulations.

What Obama did is of a different ilk.

Community organizer in Chicago was a code word for political hack--ready to do the bidding of anyone who could further his future ambitions...Tony Rezko, Rev Wright, Bill Ayers, etc.

P.S. Socialist Alinsky, much admired by Obama, actually instructed his followers to assume the "community organizer" mantle, as they focused on minority voter registration with shady groups like ACORN.
