Daschle and Graham are both competent surrogates but it definitely sounds like Dashchle had the harder row to plow. Or spin, as the case may be.

It doesn't work very well to complain that McCain isn't talking about the issues when your own candidate gave a "citizen of the world" speech to 200,000 adoring Germans, in the course of which he said nothing but sorta apologized for America's mistakes. McCain didn't make him do that. It was an unforced error. McCain simply used the footage.

Obama got too used to media adoration. Hillary couldn't use this kind of stuff against him because on every line of attack, she was either only marginally better or he couldn't be attacked on it in the Dem primaries. Well different story now.

Daschle sure is lame, lol.

Trying to defend the indefensible is difficult enough, without the use of inanity...!

Senator Graham was excellent, and Former Senator Daschle was behind the whole way.

Loved it when Graham said "Lead", "Lead", "Stop talking, Lead", "Get your hands dirty".....

and in between Daschle interrupted with what might as well have been....

"yeahbut"........"yeahbut"........"yeahbut"....
