"He hasn't taken it "off the table"" No he hasn't. He has, in fact, mentioned on numerous occasions that he sees it as part of the overall plan. What McCain has done, and Obama hasn't, is to put a particular number to it. McCain has, and, in typical McCain fashion, hasn't provided any reason why he thinks 75 is the ideal number. The problem, of course, with that number in the mentioned time frame is that unless the burnup is greatly increased or we switch to breeders, we will run out of uranium in the time frame mentioned. So unless these issues are addressed, it is meaningless babble.
