>>> wonder if you have an opinion as to the amount of oil left in this country and in the world? Is there an unlimited supply and if not, how much do you think is left???

Of course there is not an unlimited supply. Every drop is going to be used. So, WTF are we allowing our economy and national security going to be destroyed NOW for when we could be using what we own?

>>> You sound incredulous about Pelosi's comments this AM

Well, she's a T-Total-Idiot anyway. But her solution was to open the SPRO which would, of course, be not only illegal but contrary to the original intent of SPRO which was to have oil available in a crisis OTHER than high gasoline prices. This didn't stop Clinton, of course, but that was just to try and get Gore elected.

but I wonder why you think off shore drilling in CA and FLA would impact "gas prices".. That is a silly position, of course.

Bush just lifting the presidential restraint has resulted in oil prices dropping substantially. Even though it still leaves the bigger obstacle (the states and Congress) in place. You could see $60 or $80 oil again overnight if OCS drilling is permitted. That's the reality of the markets. And don't argue, you're wrong. We have seen, since Bush rescinded the presidential order, what it will do. I know, idiot liberals don't believe that's what did it, but you have no other explanation.
