I never said that.

I never said "I can't imagine withdrawing from Iraq". I believe I've said from the outset that we wouldn't be there as long as we have. And I believe it is likely that within a couple years, as a result of us having won the war (not surrendered, as the liberals would have done), we can be mostly out in the near term.

I've said it stupid to withdraw according to some predefined time table which increases the likelihood of us having to fight yet another war in Iraq.

And now its up to Iraq to live up to their manifest destiny.

Oh, bull. They need us to be there until we can be assured the security situation will hold. And they know it and have said it.

Just as, when al Sadr had to withdraw you people called it a "defeat" for America, this Obama-worship that led to the bullshit about how Maliki agreed with obama was just utter nonsense. Maliki knows which side his bread is buttered on.

The war is over. American soldiers will be coming home soon.

The war is over because of the surge, which Obama and you opposed. And yes, I look forward to the day when my son, his entire unit, and every other American force there can be home. But I am disgusted by you and other liberals not giving these soldiers their due.

Particularly, Obama. It is highly offensive to me that Obama will not even give these fine men and women credit for what they have done -- just so he can avoid having to admit having made an absolutely stupid error in judgment. I am disgusted that my son risked his life escorted that bastard around Iraq for political gain. I am disgusted that these soldiers, only a few decades after Vietnam vets were so mistreated by you, that we have it happening all over again.
