I agree. You can't just gorge on other foods. Davis's point is that in addition to wheat being unhealthy for your heart, he finds being off it tends to make you less hungry. I can say, just in my case, that I seem to be less hungry after a week off, but who knows for sure?

I do believe that just deciding to diet, and thinking about what you eat, gets you to eat less. But to keep the weight off, you must permanently change your diet. When I look at my eating habits, I have got by on a very few foods that I like a lot and are easy to fix. So I just have to make sure that those few foods in the future are good for taking weight off and keeping it off.

The list of things I like that will make meals that I posted yesterday is a good start.
