The world economy doesn't exist. What exist are national economies, some up and some down. The national economies that are suffering, have not to do with the economies where shirtless are buying shirts.

To bundle and talk about economic crisis is not the way to look at it. The OECD and Anglo economies are suffering because they have always shared a business culture and were aligned in their "project".

What's important for you an me? It is to know how governments and governing elites a.k.a oligarchies react to keep their wealth intact and the elected get the money to keep the nation-state as viable providing the services created for a set of circumstances that disappeared 30 years ago.

Governments will go after any means to keep their spending alive. That means going after your money to remove it as in taxation.

The governments go after the money of the guys who don't vote.
