The names "Redskins", "Braves", "Indians", etc. are tributes to the Native Americans and were never meant to be derogatory. Only thanks to the "Political Correctness" movement are we taught that those are supposedly "hateful" names. Changing those names will not foster racial tolerance any more than changing the name "Washington Bullets" to "Wizards" did in reducing gun violence. Tenchusatsu
