Housing Lenders Fear Bigger Wave of Loan Defaults


Its not likely to be a bigger wave and we are likely to be at the crest of the foreclosure process. Because of the very quick resetting of interest rates higher, the foreclosure process was speeded up. Now that rates are coming back down, the wave of foreclosures should ease. In fact, in some of the worst hit places in the country....primarily in FLA and CA, houses are getting sold faster than they are coming onto the market through the foreclosure process.
