IMO wise consumption means that we cut our driving by half. We then certainly have all the energy we need. We may not have solar and wind built yet, but we certainly have the resources -- the deserts of the southwest, which are pretty close to large population centers, and the wind swept midwest. And let's not forget all the newly exploitable natural gas fields that make the US self sufficient in natural gas for the foreseeable future.
