Ask him what happened to the old gray beards from the RTC and FIRREA days? Jeez I'm in 40's and vividly remember everything. I can see if you are under 40 or were not involved at all in the banking, finance or RE industries could someone on the inside be so wet behind the ears and think what went on from 2003-06 was just business as usual..

except one of the board members brought up the problems with subprime lending as early as 2000. 20-25 states passed predatory lending laws from 2001 to 2003 only to have them shot down by the Bush administration. if the states, cities, and other jurisdictions were regulating the banks, the Fed had to have known what was happening.
