Only last week, Mr. Obama couldn't have been more opposed, calling more drilling a "scheme" that wouldn't reduce gas prices. He's also been telling voters that we don't need to open more areas to drilling because the oil companies weren't drilling enough on the leases they already have. I still don't think you guys understand the concept of compromise. Obama STILL doesn't believe that we should be drilling... he's just saying, "OK, I'll let you guys drill if you do the energy-related things I want to do." Exactly. Unfortunately, GOPers see compromise as a form of weakness.
