Alice in Wonderland could munch a whole handful of magic mushrooms and still come up with a more rational energy plan than Obama's conglomerated mish mash of stupidity.

What's up with these politicians anyway? Are they mentally deficient? or liars? or just sleazy, pandering, vote grubbing power whores?

You see no contradiction between these two?

— Get 1 million 150 mile-per-gallon plug-in hybrids on U.S. roads within six years.

—Reduce U.S. demand for electricity 15 percent by 2020.

There are lots of places where we can become more efficient. Lighting is huge and with moves to fluorescent and eventually LED will save a huge amount of electricity. Still, I personally don't think we can do both of those things.
