a bunch of nonsense. After the peace treaty was signed there was no way american forces were going to be committed to battle again in large numbers. The North's takeover was only a matter of time. Ford had no choice. There would have been a revolution in the US if Ford did anything else. I dont know that there was any violation with the North rebuilding its armies. What you are calling for is a war with china if they called our bluff and this assumes you are right about them rebuilding NVN army. Not sure whether it was china alone or china and russians. You guys are clueless.

You don't know jack about this. All Ford had to do was bomb the supply lines when China was resupplying. Ford (the stupid) had a choice, he could have asked for bombing at any time. In fact the military was surprised that he didn't. True the military underestimated NVM's strength at the time, but they were not so strong that we could not have stopped it. There would not have been a revolution as the troops were there, we just needed to send weapons and ammo to SVN, the only fighting we needed to do was air cover. NVM's Air Force was defeated around 1970 or so. Ford (the stupid) probably did think he had a better political position by losing the war, but he was defeated in part because of it, that and pardoning Nixon. Plus even Carter looked smart debating him. Poor Ford (the stupid) didn't even know the Russians owned Poland.
