That count would make a lot more sense given the ringing we've seen in $NDX. I like it when the counts synchronize like that. So, we'd have your triangle forming in non-tech, and the longer corrective ringing in $NDX.




Clearly, this is an indication of the loss of trend. Now, the big question is which way the next trend will push, and odds always favor that these resolve in the direction of the prior trend. Here, that would be down.
