Education, education, and more eduction. You could start with some videos of what happens to people in their 40s who have abused junk food all their lives.

Throw it constantly in his face and bit by bit he won't be feeling so good about eating all that garbage.

And then instead of a carbon tax we should have a glycemic index tax. <g>.
