What has always made an impression on me Hank is the sheer size of populations involved, especially India, China and the rest of emerging SE Asia.

The whole Baby Boom generation and the growth of the N.A. economy
in the post war years, is a tiny pimple in comparison to what could happen in the emerging nations. It is really beyond our experience, or our collective conciousness.

So despite issues of corruption and mismanagement, I remain convinced that the growth we see in the next decade or two will simply dwarf past periods of growth.

Cheers,
Ogi
