The gov't is gonna tax me anyway. I'd rather see it spent on alternative energy than vanishing container loads of $100 bills in Bagdad.

I'm sure he's getting some credits somewhere. He taking a big risk too. He did say the wind farms can make with private money. No subsidies needed.

OTOH, what happens when we see 10 trillion dollars sent overseas to buy foreign oil in the next 10 years?

Boone is 80. He's got enough money to see him through. I give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to helping America first.

In the early 1900's they were using wind power when the technology was much more primitive, so why not now?
