I don't know. As I've mentioned before, if there are leasable areas w/i about 6 miles of existing offshore CA platforms (and theres a few dozen of these) then new production there could begin quickly - within a year or less. If someone who has knowledge of these platforms and the acreage around them has told McCain that, its believable. Otherwise it would take 5-10 years. So then, drilling our way out is not an immediate solution and is really only a good solution if we expect to be heavily addicted to oil over the next 10 years. Would you agree with that statement?
