That's what I meant when I mentioned "shorting puts". A good strategy at these levels I think. Whenever I do it, I'm always "cash covered" in case I get "put the shares". TRYING to get put the shares, or what McMillan refers to as "backing into the long" makes sense as well.

[Edit: Looking again at your post, I see you're talking about covered short puts instead.]

Though, at these levels, I'd rather just go long the shares, try to think long term, and try not to freak out, short term....
