Rove "politics" worked for Bush...TWICE... So I don't blame McCain for going with one of Rove's guys. It worked with the "swiftboating" of Kerry and it might work with the "arugala boating" of Obama. Obama is going with "expediency over substance" too. If he weren't he would have gone along with McCain's idea of having open debates all over the country. As far as Dowd goes...she's just kinda nuts in her commentary on this election. I think the NYT's actually slapped her down for her coverage of Hillary.
