He had no answers for Kiernan on the stupidity of the windfall profits tax to pay for another rebate. I say get the money from Steve Jobs who is ripping off the american consumer with overpriced phones and ipods. Or get it from Buffetts companies because he is soooo pure. Or how about Soros who is so democratic.

The oil companies are an easy target. They're making profit, kill 'em.

Confiscating the profits of the oil companies will only exacerbate the problem. Why in hell would these companies continue to search out oil when they can't keep the profits they earn by doing so?

The WPT was a failed policy from the Carter years. Why are we talking about returning to that nonsense? Only because it assists the Left in their quest for power. Certainly not because it helps solve any problem.

How about taxing those folks that invested in T-bills and Savings bonds - damned leeches making money from the debt of America. :-)

For every dollar Exxon recorded in "evil" profits, Exxon paid three dollars in taxes.
