Well you know what.......9/11 happened in a blue state, not a red one. It happened in the bluest of cities, not a red city. Its very likely a lot of liberals died that day. I had just woken up and turned on the tv when the first plane hit. I will never forget it as long as I live. I was sure I was still asleep and having a nightmare. I had friends living in the City when it happened. I worried if they were okay. 9/11 probably meant a whole lot more to me than it did you just because of my prior relationship with NYC. It isn't so much about patriotism as it is about ignorance. I know......I have never seen people as ignorant as the ones you all put in the WH. Its a disgrace. We have spent nearly a trillion dollars on Iraq and countless lives and now we find out Iraq is generating a budget surplus while we rebuild their schools and infrastructure. Please tell me how you all are not some of the dumbest people on the planet. I am waiting. Now, I think you're definitely anti-American, don't get me wrong. You constantly criticize America at every turn and have nothing good to say about it. You're confused. I am anti Republican. I am anti Bush. I am criticizing your cohort for its utter lack of competence, its extreme stupidity and total disregard for human life. But you don't know how to defend the country. You just don't understand the geopolitical situation and how power must be used. There is nothing new here. After Carter's abject failure in foreign policy, Reagan came in and used our power to defeat the Soviet Union in the spirit of TR. He did no such thing. That's a rightwing fable. The Soviet Union fell from its own incompetence and overextension in places like Afghanistan. Sound familiar......it should be....were doing a Soviet Union redux but you are too partisan and ideological to see it. You don't understand how removing Saddam and creating a democracy in Iraq will change the Middle East. And to be fair, most Americans probably don't. The uneducated have bought the liberal anti-American power play -- flip-flop on Iraq, start bashing Bush and lying about it, and eventually people will believe you. It is 100% anti-American. Fool. The Iraqis will steal us blind before they have a functional democracy. The Left -- other than the extremists like Obama -- were right there and onboard when the war started. But when it became more difficult than expected, the Left ran from it like the WTC was crashing all over again. The left bailed when the war's central premise was detemined to be a lie. No one likes to be fukked over by their president. New Yorkers have no more claim to 9/11 than the rest of us. NYC wasn't attacked, America was. It happened in a blue State in the bluest of American cities. Deal with it! It is a shame that Bush has failed to articulate the rationale for going after Iraq. But it doesn't change the facts. It needed to happen for many reasons. It is a shame you all put Bush into office twice. He has disgraced this once proud nation.
