A subsequent congressional staff investigation cleared Rubin of any wrongdoing, but he was still harshly criticized by political opponents"

That must have been the quietest congressional investigation and rebuke in history. Never heard a word about it.

And frankly, I don't remember hearing anyone really criticize him about it. I bitched about it here at the time, but I don't recall any "harsh" criticism in the media. I may have just missed it, I don't know.

Maybe ted's in shock over a fellow liberal democrat stealing 150 million from the company he is running into the ground.

On second thought, it may take a while to produce a nuance for this particular embarrassing fact.

In 1999, Mr. Rubin joined Citi as Director and Chairman of the Executive Committee and in November 2007, he was named Chairman. He returned to his previous role in December 2007. Citi is the leading global financial services company and does business in more than 100 countries.

He was CEO for 60 days. As Director, shortie is claiming that Rubin is making $15 million per year. Do you have a link that substantiates that figure?
