OT: Peter, now you have no excuse. The Cab has been ok'ed for high performance DE as long as you are under 6'4". No modifications are necessary (you might need a fire extinguisher, but that wouldn't be different from any other car).

These cabs are not that much heavier than the coupes, and they say that the stiffness isn't bad either.

HP wars-- that is what it has become, hasn't it. My brother-in-law has a Mustang. He brags and brags about how great it is and how it has a great HP/$ ratio. Anyway, I think Audi and BMW really screwed up by making their top-end cars with large, guzzling, normally aspirated engines that do something like 12mpg. Meanwhile, the new Porsches are getting 24-25 squeezing the bejesus out a 3.6l.

You're in Silly Valley, no? Come by and take a test drive. While the M3 is the standard bearer for sport coupes, all the former BMW drivers say that they have seen the light after owning a Porsche.
