I don't know what you did before you decided to become a school teacher, and I don't know how much you're paying for health care.

I remember you saying that times are tough for you financially, so I can't imagine this period of your life to be a cakewalk. All I can say that unless you have serious doubts that you're going to become a full-fledged teacher, I think you'll be fine.

As for universal health care, everyone will be paying for it in the end. If you think your health care bill going up by 60% is bad, wait until your taxes go up by that much. And for a quality of health care that resembles that of the former King-Drew Medical Center, which was literally a hospital of death.
