@Elpida
Another player, another loss:
elpida.com

Net income (loss) = around 13% of Rev. -> not that bad. ;)

Slide 15 -> Numonyx will produce some NOR stuff at Elpida
too. Something seems strange ... they have FABs, they have
empty FABs, they loose market share and now they seem to
switch over to Foundries -> isn't it better to fill own
FABs first? -> strange or does that mean, that Newco's
stuff is simply that "old" and buying new stuff is way too
expansive for them?

BTW:
I haven't seen such a bad memory environment for a long time.
I really don't know, who should absorb all these kind of new
stuff? The only way for a better environment could be, that
CAPEX for 2nd half of 2008 and full 2009 will nearly come
to an halt, so migration will take place + yield improvements
which could result in Bit growth rates at 20-30% YoY, which
would be a healthy situation, but if the current pace (60-90%)
will go on, prices will fall again and losses will even widen.
Who will exit first? If that environment will appear, it
seems QI to me -> what will IFX do?
