Koan:

Our energy problems are not solely the fault of the Neo-cons. There is plenty of blame to go around. Republicans, Democrats, Liberals and Conservatives and for that matter ourselves for electing incompetent idiots for the last 30 years. If you think they messed up energy, Wait until the current financial plays out, we may be riding horses.

Live long and prosper,

Little joe

"no new taxes" But they did tax us. Oil @148. Gas @5. Dollar trashed. Triple deficits. Tax "rebates" that had to be paid back.

The neo-con followers were hood winked by their own leaders.

What does the oil price have to do with neoconservatives, i.e. the intellectuals such as Daniel Moynihan, Saul Bellow, Nathan Glazer, and Gertrude Himmelfarb?

Or are you still using "neocon" as an all-purpose epithet, or a not-so-subtle euphemism for "Jew"?
