Osama was banished from Saudi Arabia and lived in Afghanistan where he plotted the 9/11 attack. OBL indeed was born to a wealthy family in S.A., and personally chose the individual terrorists for Sept 11. As his fellow-countrymen, he probably trusted them (and could verify their commitment to carry out the massacre)more so than radical Muslims from other nations.
